　　In 2014, director Richard Linklater released Boyhood, a fictional coming-of-age saga that was filmed using the same cast across twelve years. This film mirrors that concept: creating a real-life epic of boyhood and manhood that follows the same individual over 20 years, living in one of the most dangerous countries in the world. When we first meet Mir, he is a mischievous boy of seven living in a cave in central Afghanistan alongside the Buddhas of Bamiyan, two statues that were recently destroyed. For two decades, the film follows the adventures of his life, until, as an adult with a family of his own, he decides to pursue his own career as a news cameraman in Kabul. More than just a personal journey, My Childhood, My Country is an powerful examination of what has – and has not – been achieved in Afghanistan over the past 20 years.

　　Following the death of their mother, four estranged siblings find themselves fighting for their inheritance and for their lives when an eccentric stranger arrives, claiming their famous haunted childhood home was left to her.

　　男主是个在农村离异家庭长大的80后，在父亲因病去世后，离开老家在大城市工作。得知村子要进行拆迁棚改后，回到老屋子里收拾东西。看到了爸爸的遗像以及小时候的物品，觉得从小成长的村子再也看不到了，想回到小时候看看逝去的亲人。因弹珠形似多重宇宙，继而通过的一颗弹珠为媒介穿越到了小时候男主的身上，重新经历了一次童年的四季，也经历了再次失去一些人和物的故事。

　　1996年的湘南某个山村，十一岁的小浩为了去看望两年没回家的父亲，决定独自一人前往深圳。小浩把自己的计划告诉最要好的三胖和小光，让他们帮自己一起筹集路费。筹集路费的过程并不顺利，先后遭到母亲的阻拦和村民的误解，但是倔强的小浩并没有放弃去深圳的目标。随后，又有小伙伴们加入到筹钱的队伍，大家都怀着同样的目的——去深圳。天真的小浩认为人多力量大，却没有想到事情变得越来越复杂。

　　侯志（魏启明 饰）重返延安，望着巍巍宝塔山，潺潺延河水，他的思绪仿佛又回到四十年前的烽火岁月。当年只有十几岁的小侯志（杨彦强 饰）从前线调回延安上中学，新的环境令他好奇，他同大家一起过着有趣的集体生活。他发现同学们都有亲人接回家过周末，而自己的爸爸从未来过。不久恶耗传来，爸爸已经牺牲，他痛苦万分。班上年长的同学相继走上战斗岗位，害伤寒的侯志在生命垂危之机，是罗姐（吕丽萍 饰）救了他。田秀娟（王雁 饰）逃婚投奔延安，爱上了机智勇敢的班长（郭凯敏 饰），但战争摧毁了纯真的爱情。后来已与他人结婚的秀娟又邂逅过班长，但不久后他就牺牲了......
